A Windows 11 24H2 bug is so odd that it causes the mouse pointer/cursor to disappear when working with text fields
There are a few different ways that this bug can manifest itself. In some cases, the mouse pointer will simply disappear when you click on a text field. In other cases, it may disappear after you start typing. The bug seems to be most common when using text fields in certain applications, such as Microsoft Edge and File Explorer.
Microsoft is aware of the bug and is working on a fix. In the meantime, there are a few things that you can do to work around it. One workaround is to use the keyboard to navigate and edit text fields. Another workaround is to restart your computer.
If you are affected by this bug, please let Microsoft know by reporting it on their Feedback Hub.
It is hoped that Microsoft will be able to release a fix for this bug soon. In the meantime, users will have to continue to work around it.
