According to the August 31 news from The Verge, Apple announced on Monday that it was launching its new appeal procedure for the App Store, which was first disclosed at WWDC in June. This means developers can ask if
their app really violates one of the guidelines given by Apple.
Apple further said developers can also submit a form on the online
developer portal to suggest changes to the guidelines for the App Store.
“For applications that are already on the App Store, except those related to legal problems, BUG fixes will no longer be delayed due to infringements of the guidelines.
On the contrary, you will be able to resolve infringements of the guidelines in the next submission.”
“Apart from appealing the decision whether the application breaches the
guidelines, now you can also propose changes to the guidelines.”
