Apple: Developer commissions with annual revenues of less than $1 million will be reduced to 15%

On November 18 Apple’s Financial Associated Press unveiled a revised “committe” strategy on small companies and individual developers: the annual turnover for Apple App Store developers below $1 million, which is lowered to 15 percent from a 30-percent cut in commissions. This proposal is to be released formally on 1 January 2021.

Apple said that the recently released App Store would help small companies and entrepreneurs who are marketing digital content and products in an app store, eliminating pay applications and payment fees.
