Changes to Microsoft 365 Copilot Administrator Training

Microsoft is making changes to its training program for Microsoft 365 Copilot administrators.

Important Dates:

Retirement of MS-4006: Extended to November 29th, 2024.
Release of MS-4017: Now releasing November 22nd, 2024.

Why the Change?

The original MS-4006 course focused on preparing administrators for security and compliance aspects of Microsoft 365 Copilot. With the release of new administrative features and extensibility options in Copilot, the focus needs to shift towards managing and extending these new functionalities.

Introducing MS-4017: Manage and Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot

This new one-day course replaces MS-4006 and will equip administrators with the skills to manage and leverage the latest features of Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Key Points:

MS-4006 is being retired to better serve the needs of administrators with the evolving capabilities of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
MS-4017 offers updated training focused on managing and extending the new Copilot features.
The release date of MS-4017 has been shifted to November 22nd, 2024, to allow for better preparation.
