LG unveils thin and light laptop Gram 16

One of the lightest 16-inch laptops in the world is the LG Gram 16 with the Intel Tiger Lake processor.

A 16-inch LG Gram 16 laptop weighing just 1.2 kg has been launched by the South Korean firm LG. The device’s online demonstration took place on YouTube.

A monitor with an aspect ratio of 16:10 at a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels was provided for the new laptop. 99 percent representation of the DCI-P3 color space is given by the IPS matrix.

The Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform is at the centre of the laptop. Buyers will be able to choose between the Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7 processor models. Choose eight or 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of capacity for PCIe NVMe.

Graphics rendering is the responsibility of the optimized Intel Iris Xe accelerator.

Device arsenal: wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapters 5, 6, audio DTS: X with 5-watt speaker, backlit keyboard, microSD port, two 4 Thunderbolt/USB Type-C and USB 3.1 Type-A ports.

Black, white and silver are available for the laptop. It will go on sale in South Korea in January 2021. The global rollout has not been announced yet.
