MediaTek launched the newest mid-range Dimensity 700 processor with built-in support for 5G earlier this month, along with the MT8195 built for Chromebooks at 6nm.
The new MediaTek processor could be more powerful than the Snapdragon 865 processor.
New rumours about the new MediaTek processor, known by the initials MT6893 and showing on AnTuTu, have appeared in the last few hours. The performances reported on the popular site show numbers capable of rivalling Snapdragon 865 and even beating it in some cases. It appears that the measured processor consists of 4 Cortex-A78, 4 Cortex-A55 and the Mali-G77 GPU.
The computer used for the test has 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256 GB of disk space for UFS 3.1 and a 2,300 x 1,080 pixel resolution 90 Hz display. As you can see from the screenshot below, this test unit posted very good results, and managed to beat the most competing rival of all, particularly when it comes to the memory benchmark.
In addition, these are clearly unofficial numbers, produced with a smartphone for which it is not actually optimized, but they are definitely data that bode well for a real rivalry between producers. To find new rumors about the new CPU, we just have to wait a couple more days. We are surely going to keep you posted!!!!.
