A New Way to Customize Your Toolbar

Now, you can personalize your browser by pinning your favorite features and shortcuts directly to your toolbar.

  • To customize, go to Chrome menu > More Tools > Customize Chrome.
  • Review the list of available toolbar buttons in the side panel, including options like bookmarks, print, Google Lens, and more.
  • Choose the ones you want to pin, and they will appear on your toolbar for quick access.

Share Passwords on Your Phone

Chrome now allows you to securely share your passwords with family members using Google Password Manager.

On iOS:

  • Go to Chrome menu > Password Manager.
  • Select the password you want to share, tap Share, and then choose your family members.

On Android:

  • Open Chrome menu > Settings > Password Manager.
  • Find the password you want to share, tap Share, and select the family members.

Autofill Payments Securely with Biometrics

Chrome has enhanced the autofill feature to let you use biometric authentication (fingerprint, face scan, or PIN) for secure payment autofills.

  • Go to Settings > Autofill and passwords > Payment methods.
  • Enable Manually verify every time you pay to use biometrics during checkout.

Search Anything with Google Lens

Google Lens has been integrated directly into Chrome, allowing you to search anything you see on your screen.

  • Open the Chrome menu and select Search with Google Lens.
  • Click and drag to select any element on the page, then refine the search results in the side panel.
  • Pin the Google Lens icon to your toolbar for quicker access in the future.
