ALZ just released a policy update to enhance your Azure environment’s security, reliability, and manageability.

Stronger Security:

  • New policy restricts access to virtual network private subnets (currently in audit mode).
  • Discouraged local authentication for automation accounts.

Faster Development, More Frequent Updates:

  • Collaboration with internal teams to offer guidance for deploying Azure AI Services.
  • Major updates to recommended policies and initiatives for various AI services.

Simplified Configuration and Easier Access:

  • Enhanced “Workload Specific Compliance” section in the portal accelerator for configuring AI policies.
  • Dedicated wiki page provides details and access to all AI service policies.

Stay Up-to-Date:

  • Policy refresh first appears in the Azure portal, updates coming soon for Terraform, Bicep, etc.
