What is Buffer Overflow ?

When data written to a buffer further corrupts data values in memory addresses adjacent to the destination buffer due to inadequate boundary checking, a buffer overflow occurs. After first verifying that the data matches inside the destination buffer, this can occur when transferring data from one buffer to another.
