Samsung recently concluded its ninth annual campus program, Samsung E.D.G.E. (Empowering Dreams Gaining Excellence). The program, which saw participation from over 15,000 students across 40 top-tier institutions, aims to foster innovation and creativity among young minds.

The grand finale, held in Gurugram, witnessed intense competition among the brightest young talents. Team RSP from XLRI Jamshedpur emerged as the national winner, impressing the judges with their innovative idea of using brand mascots, geo-targeting, and personalized experiences to deepen consumer engagement. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 450,000, Samsung’s latest smartphones, and pre-placement offers.

Team Chevy67 from XLRI Jamshedpur secured the first runner-up position with their strategy for the smart home market. Their focus on creating an interconnected and user-friendly ecosystem resonated with the judges. The team received a cash prize of Rs 300,000.

Team Phoenix from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Calcutta, claimed the second runner-up position with their forward-thinking ideas involving ‘Spin to Win’ Smart QR Codes and sustainable design. They were awarded a cash prize of Rs 150,000.
