Samsung has been busy rolling out the One UI 7.0 beta program, but hasn’t forgotten about its commitment to security. The tech giant has released the December 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The update, which is currently available in Korea, addresses several critical and high-risk vulnerabilities in the Android OS and Galaxy devices. It also patches specific security flaws affecting Exynos chips and modems, including the Exynos 9820, 9825, 980, 990, 850, 1080, 2100, 1280, 2200, 1330, 1380, 1480, 2400, 9110, W920, W930, W1000, Modem 5123, and Modem 5300.
To check for the update on your Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Z Flip 6, go to Settings > Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download firmware for Galaxy devices from the SamMobile firmware archive.
