It was formerly a limited-user beta version. The well-known US venture capital company (VC), Sequoia Capital, has agreed to invest immediately and is drawing investors’ interest. There was a lot of interest from developers, and after the beta release, Satoshi Nakajima, a well-known software developer, joined in. It has gained interest, such as being at the web introduction of the new Apple (Apple) U.S. Mac.

Mmhmm is intended for use in applications such as “Zoom” and “Google Meet” for video conferencing, and has high versatility such as setting multiple backgrounds and reducing/expanding presenters, allowing presentations that draw viewers’ interest.

Video conferences may be created and held. For starters, you can create a presentation with different backgrounds during a video call, such as slides, images and videos put behind you (speaker). If you use a feature called “Copilot,” in teamwork, two people in separate positions will chat. In other words, mmhmm is a video chat medium that appears to be repetitive and enjoyable.

We launched “Big Hand mode” as a new feature at the time of release that allows collaborative communication. In the camera, you will recognise gestures and superimpose graphics that emphasize the state of your hands and fingers to communicate your intentions in an easy-to-understand way to the other person. You should interact visually when having fun0.

At present, this feature only operates on new Macs with the new Big Sur” and “M1” macOS processors. Therefore at the online demonstration of the M1-equipped Mac hosted by Apple on November 10, 2008, the mmhmm screen and Mr. Libin appeared as one of the spotlight applications.

“The so-called “freemium” category is mmhmm, and there are free plans that allow you to use simple features and paying plans that allow you to use a variety of features (“premium tools”). The monthly fee is 9.99 US dollars, and 99.99 US dollars is the annual plan. For one year, teachers and faculty members in educational institutions will be provided with a paid package free of charge.

In addition, it will start a program named ‘mmhmm Innovative Services.’ This is to promote the development of material using mmhmm and to provide event managers and companies with presentation preparation.

Also under development is a Windows version. Beta testing will begin gradually.
