Apple announced WWDC 2021, with a complete transformation of the Apple developer applications for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, as well as a host of changes to the platform’s presentation and experience. The overhaul of the sidebar for iPadOS and later models is a highlight of this update; the latest exploration tab is used to identify content to watch and read, as well as provide full-screen video content access for larger Mac displays.
Apple said of the update, “We’ve enhanced the appearance and interface of the developer apps on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac to help you navigate posts, videos, news, and announcements, as well as past WWDC content.”
