A Small Return That Could Change the Way We View GTA 6
The world of Grand Theft Auto VI is already packed with characters, criminals, influencers, businessmen, lawbreakers, and unpredictable personalities. Yet one of the most interesting revelations surrounding Rockstar’s latest extended look at the game is not necessarily about Jason, Lucia, or another major protagonist. Instead, it involves a character many players may have barely noticed.
Her name is Valentina, and her appearance could quietly confirm something much more important: Rockstar is continuing to connect GTA 6 with the long-running world of GTA Online.
Valentina was introduced in GTA Online through the Money Fronts update, where she appeared alongside Mr. Faber after arriving from a private jet. At first, her role seemed relatively minor. However, Rockstar now appears to be giving her a meaningful connection to Jason and Lucia in GTA 6.
That seemingly small detail has created a much larger question for fans: If Valentina is returning, how many other characters from GTA Online could be waiting somewhere inside GTA 6?
Valentina Makes the Jump From GTA Online to GTA 6
Valentina’s return is significant because she represents one of the clearest links between Rockstar’s enormous online universe and the upcoming single-player experience.
During the extended look at GTA 6, Valentina can be seen hiring Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos to provide security for a VIP attending a party. As expected in the chaotic world of Grand Theft Auto, the situation quickly falls apart when armed criminals interrupt the event.
What initially looks like another dangerous job for Jason and Lucia could therefore have a deeper purpose.
A Small GTA Online Character Suddenly Matters
Valentina was not originally presented as one of the defining figures of GTA Online. Her introduction could easily have been interpreted as another piece of background storytelling designed to support a particular update.
Her appearance in GTA 6 changes that perception.

The Michael, Franklin, and Trevor Question
Naturally, Valentina’s return immediately raises a much bigger question: Could GTA 5’s most famous characters also appear?
Fans have spent years debating whether Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, or Trevor Philips could return.
There is currently no definitive confirmation that all three will appear in GTA 6.
Still, the return of a GTA Online character makes the possibility of familiar faces returning feel more interesting than ever.
Franklin Already Has a Particularly Strong Connection
Among the GTA 5 protagonists, Franklin arguably has one of the strongest relationships with the GTA Online timeline.
His appearance in the The Contract update already demonstrated Rockstar’s willingness to bring a major GTA 5 character into the evolving online universe.
That makes Franklin a particularly interesting candidate for another appearance.
